Title: 100W LED, used as a bike light.
Post by: hulver on April 17, 2009, 12:39:54 pm
I don't think the lens he's using is very good at spreading the light, but it's still awesome.

100W LED (http://tesladownunder.com/LEDs.htm#100%20W%20LED)

Only AUD$500 for the LED array.

Mind you at 34V drawing 3.2A you'd need a hell of a battery to power it.

Yeah, it'll be a while before we get those fitted to our bikes.

I want one of these now, though

Only for fun of course  :demon:

It's not a "100W" LED though is it?

Its 100 1W LED'S in an array, very bright to look at but its still not going to throw light any further is it?
