Back from the alps!
« on: June 24, 2008, 11:21:24 pm »
Just got back this evening.  It was stunning!  Took 1000ish photos so will sort and upload over the next few days.  Watch this space!

In the meantime, here's a NWS picture of two students doing what they do best on the Mer De Glace glacier

Not what I was expecting (or hoping for).

Why has the guy on the right got asymmetric buttocks? Design a saddle for that, Brooks!
Oh, Bach without any doubt. Bach every time for me.

Almost all his weight is on his left lower limb, causing asymmetric contraction of the gluteal muscles.

What a splendid couple of arses!
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I am not a cannibal.
Human flesh is not Kosher.
I am not in a position to assess these chaps' foreskins, which would provide little religious information anyway.

Sir, I could not help but notice that Murmeltier were entirely absent from you photographs. I did notice a rather large pile of beer bottles. The juxtaposition of a young person, horizontal and imbibing, was, I suspect, a deliberate attempt to lead us to the conclusion that you and your cohorts drank the beer.

To anyone with any real Alpine experience, the omission of Marmots must point to the truth.

Sir, the Murmeltier drank the beer, and in your obvious shame you have sought to deliberately confuse us as to your character and capacity.

my friend took a similar photo a few years ago. http://www.climbing.ie/cpg/albums/userpics/10003/normal_ah___the_great_outdoors_b.jpg

Inspiring stuff.  Maybe these pictures should have their own thread?  We had the first society weekend this weekend, someone had to show the Freshers how it's done ;D
