Adding OFM Alps mapping to Etrex Vista Hcx

Currently I have the UK openfietsmap image installed.  Can I add the OpenFiets Alps mapping image as well, or do I have remove the Uk mapping from the microSD card first?  Is this http://www.openfietsmap.nl/downloads/alps a good mapping for Alps?  Anyone used it, or summat else?

That Etrex will only recognise one map file.
However the file can be pretty large and complex, and there are ways to combine, eg UK and Alps, into one file, even if they are discontinuous (eg no northern France) and even if they are sourced differently (eg one Garmin map and one OFM).

Thanks - that's fine.  I can swap them over for the France visit.  Would be interested in any links about combining.

GMapTool is probably the easiest option for combining map IMG files. http://www.gmaptool.eu/en/content/gmaptool
