Excuses In Early

Given the tradition of getting excuses in in the week before a ride/race etc, I thought we could get them in even earlier by posting here for 2009.

I'll start:

Of course, I'd be riding faster/further etc if I hadn't had that off and been unable to train* in the off-season.








* not clear what this means, but I understand it's what some people do.

No.  I'm still blaming my April 2006 hit-by-a-car incident for my recurring hurty-knee problem which sometimes interferes with what would, of course, otherwise be an effortless ride of heroic distance.  :D
