Things that make you think of a name and an occupation... The first one came up at work today and got me thinking.

Bootlace Ferrule (the famous country & western singer)
Bentley Clutchplate (Lieutenant-Commander, R.N. (Retd.))

The index of Gray's Anatomy (the medical text) seems to be a rich vein (sorry  ::-))...

Deltoid Ligament (champion bodybuilder)
The Ilio-tibial Band (you remember them from the 60s?)
Impressio Colica (Italian tenor, initially sounds good but eventually gives you indigestion)
and so on...

Any more for any more?

Alan Coren did an article about this, based on the contents of each volume of the Encyclopaedia Britannica (it was in "The Sanity Inspector".  Hence "Cocker Dias" was an East End flyweight boxer, "Jirasek Lighthouses" a Czech film director, "Vietnam Zworkin" an American radical feminist and so on.
