What's a good protective case for an ipod Classic?
« on: 04 June, 2009, 02:56:01 pm »
After six years of faithful service my Creative Zen has given up the ghost so I've obtained clearance from SWMBO and ordered an ipod Classic 120 Gb.

Can anyone recommend a case for it please? I'm finding the choice a tad bewildering.  Open to anything apart from leather.

TIA.

I got an Otterbox armour case for my 5th gen. iPod. after someone on the Other Forum recommended it. Excellent thing. It's a little bulky, but is waterproof, dustproof and relatively shockproof. Perfect for travelling.

iSkin make some of the best cases around. I've got an Evo 3 for mine and put it through some abuse. It's been great. The Evo 4 looks really nice too if you fancy something a bit more bling.

Those sock things. Low tech, but effective. Don't buy the Apple ones - the price is a bit daft for what is essentially just a small sock.

Alternatively persuade a granny to knit you one.

I got a Belkin rubber thing. Pleased with it so far.
It is simpler than it looks.

I just use the little slip case thing it came with.

Thanks peeps.  In the end I succumbed to the seductive bling of the Evo 4.  £17.99 minus whatever cashback I get from Quidco.
