Mr Burrows has changed his design classic The 2D bike into a fixed

he told me it has a 65inch gear

Mike is pleased at the way it has turned out

according to him it is very nice to ride

I'm not going to doubt the words and wisdom of a design guru

I wouldn't question his wisdom when it comes to designing bikes. It's just that the BB looks quite low from those photos. My instinct says that you wouldn't lean into corners half as much on a bike with small wheels, so maybe that accounts for some of it.

I've ridden a friend's 2D.  As the designer notes, it rides like a well refined Raleigh 20...  Actually quite a stiff frame but adjusting the chain tension is a bit of a bugger.
Wheel meet again, don't know where, don't know when...
