Sounds like the Darlington and points south lot will have to book early to get the bike spaces on the train. I'm happy to lead a foray from Dundee to Kirrie on the Friday night. Then do the metric 100 on the Saturday and turn it into an imperial one by the time I get back to Dundee..

A very kind offer - I hope not to need it, since I have a lift to Kirrie :)

What is Fettercairn to Banchory (via Cairn o Mount) and the Rhynie to Dufftown roads like now. Has the snow gone yet ?

Well, pal, you live as closer to these roads than most (except me  :P ): is that you volunteering to get on your bike and go and find out?
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

I've got plenty cards: some of the members of the Second Most Glamorous Cycling Club in Angus are thinking of doing the Perm version in May. I'll send you a card as well, shall I?  :demon:

I cycled up CoM on Sunday - no snow at all.

I heard on the traffic report on the radio this morning that the Cairn o Mount was finally open again today, but they hadn't had confirmation from the police yet.

Pre-event training (especially this early in the year) should not be allowed.

Eck, have a word.  That's an unfair advantage.  Can you apply a handicapping system ?
