Top film, and an awesome circa 1989 computer game that I spent far too many hours enjoying its all its CGA bleepiness.  It may have been chronically short of both pixels and polyphony, but it was a true work of art, and highly playable.

Harrison Ford in a Nazi uniform!  I think I've gone Kirst-bent.

And Sean Connery, who is also hawt. And River Phoenix, who was quite hawt then. But mainly it's just Harrison-goodness. Although he's at his hottest in Temple of Doom.

All it needs is Robert Redford, really...

(Connery never really did it for me, though he was still the best Bond)

That tends to be sea lions.  (as indeed are the animals shown in Local Hero, when the marine biologist mentions grey seals - the only movie mistake I've ever noticed for myself).

But Last Crusade was a cool film.  Harrison Ford, oh yes.

I hear his lastest is quite fun - at least the presenters of BBC Breakfast liked it, and it is about US Breakfast TV.

Sean Connery steals the whole film for me! Oh and the little skit from Alexei Sayle is also pretty neat.

I've always thought Sean Connery should have done more comedy - he was so funny in Last Crusade.

Braw film, especially as it was on BBC HD + glorious digital sound!
Good to see Mr Bronson (Grange Hill) as Adolf Hitler!

However whenever anyone said "Grail" I always imagined the scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail with Tim the Enchanter.....

I must also admit the first time I watched Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark  as a young un I had to close my eyes at the nazi face melting bit!  :-[

I've been enjoying showing these films to the kids. They're all good but this is the best of the lot. Superb Saturday afternoon entertainment.

I still have the original game and my Amiga A500+ in the attic, (along with both Monkey Islands,  Prince Of Persia, Flashback, Lemmings, Worms, Beneath A Steel Sky, Wing Commander, Populous, Syndicate… many more).
