First FNRttS of 2012, this time with bonus road-runner!

The weather forecast for this week is appalling but it may clear by Friday night (we've not been rained off yet - my new moon theory is holding - and this is the 12th event).  However, if it's rain and tempest on Friday I will post a decision by 6pm.

Whilst the heart is willing, the fitness is waaay behind schedule for this time of year and I'm simply too knackered and sleep debted to contemplate a night awake.  May nip down and see you off though.

I'd love to recreate the Money for Nothing cake stop, and live through the snow, but sadly I am ill and unfit.

Looks like a pretty tight group, then.  Good for getting served at the cafe.  The weather is shaping up to be reasonable - dry overnight and with a gentle westerly wind, which allows for a cracking pace from Wheatley to Worminghall and along Bledlow Ridge.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first FNRttS last October, but alas am unable to ride on Friday.

Hopefully I'll be able to make one later in the year !  When are they ?

Lord knows why, as I do the ride every day as a commute, but given that you'll be at Paolo's early-ish so I can be back home early-ish I may well ride over to say hello for brekkie again - what time do you expect to be there? That's about a 25% risk. There is still a 10% risk I may journey out to Oxford, will negotiate and provide the outcome.

That 10% estimation was as a result of me sitting there thinking - There MUST have been a reason why I didn't put my name down but I can't think why.

Is she coming along then? You can always bring a trailer, although I think from other people's descriptions, lugging two people up Smalldean can pose a challenge.

Right...we're taking a literal rain check on this ride although if things suddenly improve tomorrow afternoon we can reactivate it as late as 6pm.

Next one is June 15th.  The Dun Run practice ride.  It doesn't clash with FNRttC.  I am riding whatever the weather, because I can do warm and wet.
