Anyone familiar with these people? Bikes4africa They send bikes to africa to enable kids to get to school where they would otherwise be unable to do so.

Though its not on the website yet, I'm considering taking part in their overnight Cycle Relay at Hullavington airfield in Wiltshire on 20/21 September.  There will apparently be live music, a barbecue, snacks and full english breakfast, and of course friends/family are welcome to come along and support.  Prizes will be given for most miles cycled and most money raised.

Would any of the local yacfers be interested in forming a team of five?  Please let me know.

Cheers,
RoS

Hey - thanks for the link. We have visit Cape Town in winter for last 3 years, & I have step-daughter living & working there.

Will get involved as people do not have/cannot afford even basic bikes...
Where have all the hedges gone ?

I'll be in the States, otherwise I'd have been interested.

I still think the bikes for midwives is one of the best Good Gifts in their catalogue.
