And maybe you're all over-reacting to a slightly tongue-in-cheek topical caption.

I'm not sure that any ES staffers are smart enough to write a tongue-in-cheek caption, and I'm certain that the majority of ES readers wouldn't have got it anyway.

I think the ES is writing true to form:
Never pass up an opportunity to deride a cyclist.

The Evening Standard, I turn my back on it.

My best friend used to work on the standard, he hated it. He is now a blacksmith in Wales.....

Good effort though. Maybe something about distorting things would have been better....

Here are my pics from yesterday.

The scale of it all absolutely amazed me, hence lots of shots of lots of people I don't know.

There are some group shots of yACFers, most of whom I can't identify, but it was great to be there and be part of it all.  :)

I don't know many, but slide 24 shows a back view of yellow-ceitidh and chris standing, with Zoe (pink) seated as well as mrs chris (kneeling).

...and a very delayed pointing out of Butterfly on yellow-ceitidh's right, Wobbly John next to her (behind her from our point of view), and I think Clarion just visible behind yellow-ceitidh's head.
Actually, it is rocket science.

Just found another shot of Bent Mikey on Flikr.  It's easier to spot him than anyone else, there aren't that many skaters on speed skates on the London Freewheel!

It is isn't it, it's a shame that the feet are a little bit too blurred, but the impression of movement is rather good.

It's not even a particularly "London Freewheel" shot, it could be anywhere.

That's one of the Wobblebikes that I made for Cyclemagic, and Matt is pretty good at riding it. We did a lap of the course together.  ;D

If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...
