Anyone know if SRAM are intending to upsdate their BB7s to a flat mount, or produce something that is? I'm not ready for hydraulic, for various reasons, and so far have only found TRPs in flat mount flavour

Or just get a mount adapter. Though may depend on your forks/frame as to whether it fits, and may need a bigger rotor.

The TRP Spyre/Spyke range have the advantage of moving both pads, and the Spyres I have set up have adjusted very easily.

It's not that I have anythig against Spyres, I've heard other people say good things about them as well, but it would be good to have a choice.

I have read a number of criticisms of Spyres/Spykes, however my experience of running one on the back of our tandem for three years (and three winters of salted gritted roads) has been that it has been flawless. Lots of other components have suffered the ravages of winter gritting but the Spyre has been flawless. I'm not obsessive about cleaning but do rinse off the bike after riding on gritted roads.

JUst ordered a brace of spyres and mounts, Merlin have them on a decent deal, and one of the few places that have them at all.
