A little clothing advice

You all seem like a sensible, so I am sure you will be able to help me with my little sartorial dilemma.  What does a lady of a certain age wear to the see The Rocky Horror Picture Show?  The 'gang', I am informed, are dressing up  :-\

Tweed.  And sensible shoes.

I assume from your comment you would rather not spend the evening wearing nothing but underwear. I would take a look at Columbia's costume (not the wardrobe malfunction one).

Tweed.  Is that not a perfume?  ;) Ok,  perfume and sensible shoes.  That might scare animals and small children.

Thank you Tim.  Yes, again, wearing my underwear would have any sensible person running for cover.  They are rather large and not the sort I think I would be expect to wear.  I blame Gok Wan.

I will have a look at Columbia's costume.

Knee high boots, a long black cloak, preferably velvet, and lots of eye makeup.

Underneath the cloak you can be as casual as you like, wear your PJs as long as you're not going to Tesco afterwards.

Now a cloak would be acceptable.  It will cover up all the unsightly bulges I have developed over the year.  Thank you Julian

Dinner jacket and a party hat, and remember to bring a football rattle or similar.

I like the DJ suggestion.  If I were to wear a DJ and hat, what do else should I wear?

Right.  It looks like I am going as Columbia, well a black and white, slightly more sedate, older version.  I guess you could call me British Columbia
