Charnwood in the spring  April 5th  2009

I have sent my entry off today, it will be my first audax.
It starts less than 5 miles from me, and I am led to understand it follows a similiar route to the ACF East Midlands christmas ride a couple of years back and Januarys fixed ride with a control at Stonehurst farm cafe in Mountsorell. :P
Is anybody else riding this?

Where do you think I found out about Stonehurst Farm?

Not this year - but I did ride it a couple of years back.  Nice route.

I'm riding it. It starts barely 2 miles from my house!.
I've been unemployed since Xmas and have been using this route as a training ride. By the time of the event, I will have ridden it 7 or 8 times this year!

Really enjoyed that, a great day out.
Around 80 riders, perfect weather, a route that I know, but with a few roads I hadn't ridden previously, and a friendly atmosphere.
A nice introduction to Audax, put me down for 'The Cheshire Cat'.
