Just finished website for my mates hotel in Whitehaven

Tivoli Guest House

Allegedly the closest to the C2C start !!!

The website looks nice, but when you clicky on 'vegetarian options' the accommodation page pops up (nothing veggie there ???)

Yeah, we had a pic of a veggie brekka on the table but we decided the amount of pics was getting a bit silly.

Would you suggest having a menu ?

Well, if you're going to have it as a 'Main Feature' button on the right hand menu, then it needs to have some relevance...and the current picture appears to be bacon and sausage  ;)

No worries - all advice / crit welcomed. The features lsit was going to 'just a list' but I ended up making them links then had the problem of what to do with them :)

Maybe I could include a short text describing veggie brekka as opposed to full meat?

Well you did ask!

When the mouse cursor moves over the blue patterned panels either side of the text it disappears (on my screen/resolution). It add a bit of confusion when moving to scroll the page.

Nice job though.

No, thanks. What you describe sounds rather odd. I have tested with IE6,7 and FF.

What are you using / whats rez etc ?

What actually dissapears, the text?

Im going to reboot into Linux as I know there are some visitors using FF under that!

1024 x 768 resolution on a Dell laptop. The text doesn't disappear, the mouse cursor disappears. I suspect it is an interferance issue with the pattern of the background.
