I can't make it for 6, Sam and I think Mr. Bodger suggested he couldn't also.

Can we make it 7?

7 is fine for me

Will have to slope off at around 10.00 p.m. though, so I can catch the 10.18 p.m. train back to Wolverhampton.

Gordy it'll be great to see you, and Zoiders do come!

Where does Brum CM start from and what time? I might go eye up the fixie chicks and sound systems :D

From St Pillips Square.  Somewhere on the grass around the cathederal.  Just walk a few hundred meters along Colmore Row from the floozy.
At about 6:30 I think.

I’ll thank you not to slander my new WNBRogram business before it’s even got out of the saddle. ;)  I got yours so I think we have now idiot-proofed the rendesvouz, if anything I should be early (READ – the train will be 30 mins late).  Or maybe I’ll amuse myself by jonining CM for 15 mins.  If anyone’s coming by car it would be great if I could leave my folder in the boot, I have a bag for it.

What standard of dress will be required for the drinking holes we will be frequenting? I am not hugely keen on the shirt and shoes malarky...

Last time I went into town on a Friday night the standard dress code seemed to be heels so high that one can't walk properly on them, a skirt so short that it was almost a belt and a top so low cut that it left nothing to the imagination.  This was accessorised later in the evening with spilt cocktails, kebab source and vomit.   I'm sure that there were some men around too but I can't say that I noticed what they were wearing.

I was planning on jeans, trainers, T shirt type thing.....unless we are intending to go somewhere posh?

Yes, a good night out.  Met Basil W on the train in from Redditch, he had to pop off to the office briefly so went on to the floozy where gordy, blade, Zoiders et gal (sorry, forgotten the name but she was lovely) were already there.  Then Sam and John (Basil) turned up, 7 in all.

Negotiated the ringroad system to get to the Shakespeare, one of the 3 city centre pubs I know (Basil knows even fewer having worked there for 30 years) where we got a table outside for a couple of pints, then off to the Baraji for a superior curry, where we went last time.  Some interesting chat about gordy's touring and blade's audax, broke up 10:30 to 11 when people had to get trains back.

Have PMed you about the concert tonight Sam, hope to see you again before you go.

Oh, and Bodger turned into Dodger and couldn't make it in the end - and found out that that's really Si Davies anyway!  Was hoping to chat about growing veg (ah yes, you were talking about an allotment on a ride once Si).

Hi peeps.
Firstly, please let me apologise for not feeling particularly "on form" last night.
Things are a bit stressful in the worlds of work and health atm and sometimes it gets a bit on top of me.
Anyway, great to meet you all at last (and again).
Mobile phone pics, so a bit crap.

Mr Thin being entertained by Gordy and Zoiders.

Blade and some bloke from Laarndon

Some thing wrong here.  Zoidburg's friend (Road Runner) seems to have two eyes.

Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.
