Lawn Stripes and YACFer's Anal Gardens (past and present)

Somehwere betwixt Rogerzilla and Faccombe. Late Spring 1999. The Romans stopped by cos I found two of their infiltrating (I'm not into gangs or flags by the way and mutliculturism is good for my diet) coins when digging the garden.

They are tomato plants

There's almost a working windmill on the horizon of the third pic

Or am I climbing up the wrong thread/post/greasy pole again?

I really expected "Anal Gardens" to be in the NSFW bit. My mind was already boggling.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

You have to cross Perry Neal Bridge to get from one to the other.
It is simpler than it looks.

What defines a bridge too far?   :hand:

Can I post here because my garden is the antithesis of that title? ;D
Actually, it is rocket science.

You mean, it needs the gardening equivalent of a back, sack'n'crack waxing and a vajazzle?  :demon: ;D

Probably more in the "take off and nuke the site from orbit" milieu.
Actually, it is rocket science.

But one needs to appreciate the sacrifice, suffering and futile attempt of humankind to tame any garden with a lawnmower!

Much more pleasurable to ride a bike in circles

Also applicable to gardens, IMO -

A SWEET disorder in the dress
Kindles in clothes a wantonness :
A lawn about the shoulders thrown
Into a fine distraction :
An erring lace which here and there
Enthrals the crimson stomacher :
A cuff neglectful, and thereby
Ribbons to flow confusedly :
A winning wave (deserving note)
In the tempestuous petticoat :
A careless shoe-string, in whose tie
I see a wild civility :
Do more bewitch me than when art
Is too precise in every part.
