WHAT: The Seahaven 100 is a 100km cycle challenge, following a circular route around the beautiful Sussex countryside, starting & finishing in Seaford complete with a feed station checkpoint midway around the circuit. The route can be viewed & downloaded to a GPS device from here – bit.ly/seahaven100. A colour map of the route with full turn by turn directions will be handed out at sign-on.

WHEN: Coinciding with the Seahaven Cycle Festival, the Seahaven 100 takes place on Sunday June 10th 2012. The first group away with a target time of 5 hours will set off at 09:00.

WHERE: The HQ for the event is Seaford Rugby Club, The Salts Recreation Ground, Marine Parade, Seaford. The newly refurbished Rugby Club provides full changing & shower facilities. Refreshments will be available & there's even a licensed bar to take care of that all important recovery lager.
Free parking is available all along Marine Parade.

WHY: As part of the Seahaven Cycle Festival the Seahaven 100 celebrates everything that is great about cycling, & in particular everything that is great about cycling in East Sussex. The route will take in coastal cycleways to the rolling heathland of the Ashdown Forest, & everything in between!

HOW MUCH: The idea is to get out on your bike & enjoy doing it. It certainly isn't to 'make money'. That's why entry for the event is a simple £3.50 in advance / £7.50 on the day. All profits from the entry fees will be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).

SIGN ME UP: On-line registration is available via the British Cycling website – bit.ly/enterseahaven100
