Summer Hostelling
« on: 06 February, 2012, 11:29:49 am »
Following on from our very own, Northern style, freeze your bits off style, bunk-barn weekend, I have been asked (mainly by TLD and Mrs T) if we are organising a summer one.

To this end I will take it upon myself to organise said weekend.

The first thing, obviously, is to work out which weekend, then check with the Cooks as to availability, then get numbers.

So, your starter for ten, preference for date? May, June, July or August?

FWIW I can't do the third week in May, nor the weekend that NY schools break up in July.

Not fussed, although June is starting to look a bit busy.

Might be good to see if we can fit it around one of the bank holidays, either the usual suspects in May and August or the extra one we're getting for Liz's diamond jubilee.

We get pretty busy during the summer, but I am sure we would love to be there.

Remember to avoid York Rally weekend, and Mildenhall.

Oh - and our Anniversary Weekend too! :)
Getting there...
