Will the cheapo Lidl offering match the sleek looks of the iExpensive? :)

Who gives a 5h1t? The Lidl offering is the same price as the 'Smart Cover' which does not protect the back and cheaper than the Apple wireless keyboard. It seems (like many other non-iSpend things) to offer about three times the bang for the buck. I don't have iNfinite cash.

Not clear if it will work with the (new) iPad, and iPad2 is now lower (more reasonably, not so iExpensive) priced.

Still, many original iPad owners who skipped over iPad2 are going for the 3rd iteration.

I have an iPad 1 and I'm sticking with it, still works fine!

I also have a case just like that which I bought a year or so ago and has been brilliant. Those colossally long ride reports on my German tours are written using the bluetooth keyboard - I'd hate to use the iPad's keyboard for 2000 words per day!

It is simpler than it looks.

Out of interest, where did you get the case?

It was from Amazon.

It was this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/High-Quality-Protective-Integrated-Silicone-Bluetooth/dp/B004FUSL5C/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1332620109&sr=8-16

But I see there are others that appear to be the same thing. The Lidl one looks like it's the same product with different branding.

Mine is for an iPad 1 and I think an iPad 2 might slip down too far in it.
