27/4/13- Cambridge 300 or Meopham 300

I'd quite like to do a 300 that day, but no idea how to choose between these 2. Both are a bit of a drive away from me, so has anyone got any thoughts on either of these? I think they might be both new events.

I've entered the Meopham as it's local.    Never done the Cambridge one.

I don't know either ride but Cambridge would most likely be the flattest of the two. The Meopham may have it on the scenery with the North and South Downs and Kentish Oast houses and castles but there is some nice stuff around Cambs, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk (like on the September 600) The Cambridge 300 might get a bit tedious if it stays in the fens for the whole 300, especially if you get a headwind.
Cambridge is nice and worth a visit. :)

I loved the Cambridge 300 when I did it. You'll see that it's only flat for the last 100km.
