Stumbled on this excellent Electric Six / Kylie mashup yesterday

Anyone else got some good ones ?

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

An act at my folk club did 'House in New Orleans' to the tune of 'Oh Little Town of Bethlehem'.

Try it. It works beautifully.

Of course, Zappa did "Lonesome Cowboy Burt' as both the Nando version and the Swaggart one:

"Where's my waitress prostitute?"

Apparently, in the Swaggart version, he left "just the tip".

I heard the guy who made Whole Lotta Helter Skelter talking about it a few months back: http://youtu.be/aY2bWyiaei4

And a few days back there was loose talk on Twitter that led to Melange: http://youtu.be/dTXuazOL_tw

I like the Dean Gray album, which is Green Day American Idiot mashed up with a variety of other songs (including Doctor Who). http://youtu.be/PAzzhJeTp-I

Wax Audio have some great albums, including Thunderstruck/Ghostbusters. http://www.waxaudio.com.au/audio/albums

And classic Proclaimers vs 2 Bad Mice. http://youtu.be/_cbdNP7Plak

I saw the Blind Boys of Alabama some years ago performing Amazing Grace to the tune of House of the Rising Sun.  Worked beautifully too.

More recently, my 7 year old spent most of the run up to Christmas singing We Three Kings to the tune of Another Brick in The Wall. thankfully, he didn't do it in the school Christmas service.
