Is it just me / my iPad, or is the Andy Murray-o-Meter really showing Dunblane's Finest as 100% BRITISH?

Interview with his 2nd round opponent on 5 live earlier and the guy described him as:

"England's greatest sportsman".

Technically as he lives in Surrey these days, he could be right.

I think Andy Murray is playing even better this year than he did last year.

I think Andy Murray is playing even better this year than he did last year.

Fixed his back, that’s why.

I remember commentators talking about his movement being not so good and his backhand down the line not being used much. That was because of his back trouble, he says he wasn’t able to hit the backhand properly. Now he’s able to hit his backhand as well as ever, and in a way it may have helped develop other aspects of his game.

Kinda wish I’d not gone to the gym but instead watched Nadal’s match.

Nadal has been beatable at Wimbledon for years, I’m not sure too much can be read into this.

I'm glad I went for a swim cos my hip was so sore today I had to use my stick, but I'm sorry I missed the Nadal game.

My prediction now is that if Andy Murray gets to the final, he will win it, but he might lose to Djokovic in the semi-final, and if so, Djokovic will win the final.

To be fair only 4 people have won Wimbledon for the first time then defended that the next year.

In the longer term, I'm not sure the hunger is there now.

The BBC news were talking like it's the beginning of the end of his entire career.

Well ... disappointed to see a sub-hour final. But that's the way real sport is sometimes.

Don't you just want to give Bouchard a big hug? Nice to see how much it meant to Kvitova, despite it being so easy (and I really like the way she says tac-tic :) )

(Is that Audrey Tatou behind Navratilova?)

I'm out route-checking all tomorrow, may have to watch the Mens on fast-forward. Bound to be close, I'd say.
