Magnus Backstedt sprints for the line, with Rob Hayles on his wheel (and, it would appear,, Petacchi's head up his arse):

Ha! I had a feeling I saw you, but couldn't be sure. (also didn't want to shout "Oi, FWN!" in case it wasn't you!)

You were wearing a yellow and maroon team jersey IIRC.

You can see me in that pic - the HiVi blur above normal crowd height (I was sitting onna big box of TL electronics) and a blur of bright red next to me which was Emily. :)

My kids are annoyed that it isn't coming to Dundee..

Though I might mention to the council/visitScotland that a Dundee-Aviemore stage with a finish at the chairlift would be a fantastic way to show off the Highlands (Dundee->Glenshee->Lecht->Bridge of Brown-> Grantown on Spey -> Aviemore ->Ski Lift.

Definitely not a Cav friendly stage.

Ha, you should have shouted I'll answer to anything  ;D  You must have been right next to another of my friends Tim and his wife just to your left.

I was wearing my yellow and maroon Catford CC top along with Cliffe one of my club mates  :)

I had a nice day out watching the Tour of Britain and sampling the activities on offer at the Southport Festival of Cycling and the ambience of Lord Street on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Here is a 5 minute film with integral Mozart.

I can't decide which of these pics by my mate Dave Robinson I should enter in the competition, all taken outside the Dunkirk Hall pub in Leyland.

For stage 6, I stood near the top of the KOM at Maiden Law, County Durham.  I missed the leader and only caught the back of the second rider  :-[

Then the peloton came past. I suspect this to be Malcolm Elliott:

At the back:

Extensive research leads me to believe that this is Santiago Botero off the back:

I ended up posting this photo for the Tour of Britain photo competition.

From what I read in the Guardian last week Bradley probably still had a hangover.
They phoned today to say they'd put it in the final 10 and would be sending me 2 tickets to the Bike Show, anyone fancy representing Dave. I've got to tell him down the pub tonight that I put my name on the entry so it would match up with the e-mail address.
