could someone give me a shot of the side opposite the zipped pocket, in partic the attachment mechanism ?  I'm wondering whether this could attach to the headrest on my recumbent?

It would fit on the seat as long as you can get the straps around the seat back.
As Karla says the video on the site shows quite a lot http://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalog/dry-bike-tail-bag.html

I missed it the first time round with a dodgy connection and skipping video.  Watching again the point where he turns it round shows exactly the same straps front and back.

I'm not thinking about putting it around the seat, but around the two vertical supports of the ICE headrest I use, I think it would work.

Ooh, that looks quite nice. If only they'd released it before I bought my Topeak.

The 13l looks interesting. I'd like to see more of the internal plates that "keep its shape" - getting stuff out of a bag that then collapses & spills half of what's left inside onto a wet road is fun I can do without.
I dare eat all that may become a man.

But hold the oysters.

It's probably too late to avoid these two threads getting confused, but I'll try moving this here anyway:

http://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalog/dry-bike-tail-bag.html

I've been using one of these bags for last couple of months & on last weekends wet "Winter Solstice" audax.
So really can confirm bag is totally waterproof, you could probably submerge it underwater & would still not leak. My only niggle is that my current rear carrier / rack doesn't have a solid plated top to it,  so if the LOMO bag is only partly filled it doesn't sit well atop of carrier & can waggle around a bit.
to cure -   I've cut up & glued a bit of plastic " For Sale" sign inside the base of my LOMO bag to improve the rigidity, bag is all the better for it.  Much cheaper than Ortlieb bags, but no way inferior IMHO.   I recommend this product.
