Pondering on having to get up tomorrow morning at sparrow fart o'clock (4am), so I can get up and ready for helping with a dawn wader bird survey at a local nature reserve.

We've got lapwings nesting in the field just across the railway line - fortunately, their random dive-bombing antics seem to have settled down.

I'm taking a break from stitching GBR to a small YACF shirt so that one of my charges can be a (pretty inaccurate!) olympic cyclist at school tomorrow

. I've got a team GB flag to sew to the front.
