Half watching football and half watching grand designs, while My DH watches football in the living room with friends.

Sitting in a pub where the footy is on in the other bar.
It's remarkably quiet, so I assume the match is a bit boring or everyone has decided it's far too nice an evening to be stuck in a stuffy pub!

Rather confusedly watching the football. Not my idea, but the company, pizza, beer type drinkage and nachos make it kind of worth it ;)

Waking up in order to get myself to Sutton Coldfield, where I am going to spend the morning on the PushBikes stall fixing punctures and brakes on BSOs.

Watching an old video tape.
QED 'A Guide To Armageddon' from 1983.

Quite traumatic watching in its day.

Sitting in a hotel room, at another airport, wishing I was home already, thinking even harder I need a holiday and trying desperately to ignore the siren song of the minibar and snack tray.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Thinking I probably shouldn't have ignored the "Serves 2-3" on the packaging, and instead ate the whole pack of noodles. With chicken.

Drinking hot chocolate in Dalwhinne after negotiating the travesty that is the Dromocter pass awake path. It was a bit cold up there.

Supping tea at Kings Cross station.  Butterfly has just gone to catch her train to York.  I'll soon be setting off home, but I'll be back here in about twelve hours to make the journey myself.

It's a bit of an odd feeling, seeing someone off at the station.  Not something I do much any more.
Getting there...
