It's very wearing. It makes me grumpy & short tempered (and I wasn't exactly long tempered before) and tired, and lethargic, and depressed, and well. You both know what I'm talking about.

Sigh.

Get a grip.

Just sayin', like...

I've just been downstairs, reset the hub, made a cup of tea and come back.  Without wearing my sling.  I thought it would be OK.  It wasn't. :( >:(

It's a lot easier to get a grip if your fucking hand isn't hurting. So ner.

I shall defend vigorously your right to moan, whinge and whine and generally wallow in a vat of self pity eating chocolate and snivelling sorrowfully, Rboab.

Well, I've done enough of it ;)

So, when's your next 600?

Playing with a very nice fisheye lens that Mrs T bought me for my birthday.

Yes, a fisheye lens for our Nikons (I have a D60 and Mrs T has a D5000)

I fear the world might disappear into a sigularity if I take a photo of a piece of photography equipment :)

Seriously though, when I get chance I will post a pic.

I remember when corporate education meant a week away at a good hotel, a few classroom sessions interspersed with coffee and biscuits and a nice lunch followed by a night out on the town.

Now its two hours spent at your desk on a PC with the phone on voicemail. No wonder I've stopped learning things!

Except it isn't.  It's E-grainy-video-with-no-subtitles as well.

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a thousand words are worth several hours of video.

I'm trying to force my brains back into my head. They are threatening to leak out after I melted them with two solid days of coding XSLT transforms. Ugh...

I'll get the multiple choice test in about 20 mins.
Was it one of those where you have to keep guessing answering until you get the 'right' answer?

Yes. To be fair the questions were easy, partly because I knew the subject anyway but mainly because you just pick the answer with the most jargon and Americanisms in it

Shaking and trying not to puke up any lungs after chasing a pair of disgustingly effortless roadies into the wind on the way back from Edgbaston at well above evens.

I nearly had them, until the gradient turned against me, at which point their combined all-up weight adding up to about the same as my bike had the predictable effect.  Bastards.

Running a post 30km MTB ride bath.

10km of the above ride involved getting lost in the woods admiring the scenery on several fire roads I'm sure I had been down before......

Having explored our holiday cottage, the CrinklyClan are relaxing with, variously, coffee, biscuits, ps2, solitaire, dodgy mobile interweb connections and wasabi peas while discussing what to have for tea.

Wondering if I should drink all of this bottle of chilled red wine that's been put in front of me as part of the "pilgrim's menu (€10.50). OK, justification found: celebration of climbing my first proper mountain. ;)
