Having my lunch, drinking coffee and not feeling like I want to go on an office-wide rampage wielding a blunt instrument.

I can only attribute this elevated mood to the fact that I rode in this morning ...

Musical bikes with the Genesisisissisises.

I need to prepare the orange Genesis for work tomorrow 'cos I'll need to use panniers, meaning that I also need to put the yellow Genesis away. However, just to make life interesting I plan to do some work on the green Genesis tonight meaning I've got to get the frame out of its box and manoeuvre it around the other Genesisisisses and the Surlys.

I really wish I'd bought a house with a sodding garage ...

I just removed almost a kilo (yes, I weighed the bucket of water before and after) of Tunnel Ride mud from my bike   :o

Most of this consisted of an extra set of mudguards, moulded out of mud, inside the usual mudguards.

Plotting a Garmin route into Bristol for a BTOTC ride tomorrow. Yippee, I can get out on the bike again
(I hope my legs don't punish me for spinning class and pilates tonight.)

Feeling a bit of a berk right now as I cried in the vets! Yes, a 20 stone “hard as nails" (…yeah right) bloke crying over a cat! Oh, and it was good news of sorts!

Perkins, one of our kittens (okay 2 years old but still our baby) as Feline Leukaemia which is causing him some problems with his lymph glands and digestive system. He has been down recently so the vet wanted to see him. The bad news, his illness is getting worse as we knew it would, but she wants to see him again in three to four months time.  That’s good news as I was expecting him to leave us before then, so for some reason, I cried.

Think I will sack a few people this afternoon. That will cheer me up!

Contemplating on my having to get up at starling fart o'clock tomorrow morning.  Field trip to Mar Lodge Estate, leaving college *sharp* at 7am!   :o
Should be a grand day out, even with the early start...

I'm repeatedly rewinding the same track, just because of one chord change that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Sitting in Schipol waiting for a train to Brussels and planning what chocolates I'm going to buy in the Galler shop.

Also, thinking that 1 cup of tea since 4am is not sufficient...
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

I'm so grateful that my job doesn't entail all that airport stuff.

I'm importing my friend's exhaustive collection of James CDs onto my computer.  I've had them since August so it's about time.

I keep finding stuff that other people have lent me today.  I need to start giving it back!

Coffee filter thingies, CDs, books, arm warmers, more books, that tenner ...

Sitting watching the snow flurries and contemplating a move into a warmer room.
It is simpler than it looks.

Having my lunch (blood sugar tanked, hence early eats)

There are only 8 of us in today, so it's quite a convivial atmosphere hereabouts.

Contemplating going out in the garden to sort out the mess left by last nights storm. The parasol and cast iron base are half way across the lawn, there is a wooden garden table in the pond, and my dog-proof electric fence around the pond has been knocked asunder by the debris. I knew I should have put the garden furniture away in the shed last week

At work waiting for the go-ahead to shut down our electrical installation for biennial maintenance. It's a lovely day here in London and I would much rather be doing something different!
