WOW! A quick response or what? Emailed a certain place at 09:01 and received a reply at 09:11 (it may become apparent, later, just why I needed to email this particular company).

The outcome of this email has been that they are happy for us to do this.

'Rebranding' our documentation, specifically the online help. This should be easy, as it is theoretically controlled by css.

However the css is built from a spaghetti of xml, python and haystacks.

Well, I spent 45 minutes putting things into envelopes, 20 minutes removing them again, 2 seconds changing the postcode on a document, reprinting 40+ copies and a further 45 minutes at stuffing.

Doing it all over again, with knobs on, now that the marketing department has provided 'feedback'.

Can you make those pink and lose the grey from there, make that background 70% grey.

Oh and that list should be black to match the other text. The list. The list of hyperlinks do you mean? You want all links in the online help to look identical to the adjacent text?
