Drinking lovely coffee and listening to the radio.

A proper day off, pottering about, is really nice  :)

Trying to get my head round an adult woman actually dressing up as a golliwog and not thinking it might cause offence.  :o

And then happily sharing pictures of herself in said costume. :o :o
Getting there...

I hope they won't be powered by 'local resources'.  (though that would be cool)

Successfully loaded some uni software onto a Windows computer (Lenova). New territory as I haven't had any thing to do with Windoze since 2004. :)

Also built up a new Keiser M3 spin cycle. I know I know, this is a bicycle forum but my reasoning for the spin bike is as thus.
1. Want something nice and easy to jump on for a quick blast, regardless of the weather.
eg, mental block whilst writing an essay.
2. I could have bought a turbo trainer and used the lovely sooty but, I am slowly trying to get the bloke into bikes and at the moment, he's not into them at all. Plus he's far too heavy to get on the sooty.

I know I know, this is a bicycle forum

I'm fairly sure it's not.  Though having wheels is generally encouraged.   ;D

Don't worry, in the shed there's a lovely Trek hard tail MTB and a really nice Spesh Roubaix.  ;D

I'm disappointed in you mcshroom, I'd have expected you to rub a couple of sticks together by now and have your stove lit with dinner bubbling away.

Given the location of your employment I'd expect you to glow in the dark sufficiently to not be in the dark :)

Watching formula one practice. Discovered it on one of the Dutch channels. Its very odd as there is no commentary, consequently I have no idea what is going on, except cars are going round in circles.

Drying my bike shoes in front of the fire... Probably shouldn't have left it until this evening to clean them, considering I need them tomorrow morning!

I'm watching Stewart Lee. It's making my brain hurt in an existential quandary sort of way.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Hiding from the wind in a café in Whitley bay. It's strong and againsterly at the moment. Makes for slow progress.

Tidying my little home office.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State
