Maybe this should be in the bad news thread, but I CBA to find it...

Today I am in Prudhoe.

In an office I hate, it was built in the '80's and not updated since then.

It's pissing down with rain.

My left leg is still intermittently hurting.

I am here to work with a the Server Support guys, who are all off on holiday today.

The person I report in to in on holiday.

The other person I report to is the person who, when he asked me to email him some details last week I pointed out that I had emailed them to him 2 weeks ago and he should check his email, replied with "I don't care, I don't care about that, I don't fucking care about that".  Do you think I actually have any motivation to assist him?

It's fucking well raining.

My leg hurts.

All in all today is more than a bit shit,
I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State

Wondering where I can get some sort of dimension-bender* so I can make a room bigger

I think it's called London  :-\

Perusing the property p0rn pages in the ES yesterday, there's an 8 foot wide house in Dartmouth Hill for a princely £450k. I hope that's bigger on the inside. My bathtub is bigger than that.

Our builders have somehow managed to fit the contents of our living room in the summer house (aka shed with windows and porch). I probably can't sit on the sofa though.

Taking a break from doing a recce n Open Runner of Sunday week's 600k. Supplied route sheet is terse, to say the least.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

It is intermitedly raining in London.  Should I just man up and accept getting wet and wear T shirt and dirty shorts in matching yellow?

Recovering from the aforementioned trip into town - it wasn't as bad as it could have been, largely because there was water coming out of the sky by the bucketload.

Also discovered that a hypo feels very similar to a caffeine high, and when they both occur at the same time it is a uniquely unpleasant experience

Researching (and worrying a little about) my commute to my new job which will start on 11 June. Skipton to Leeds, three days a week. Possibly bike-assisted.

You got a touch of the sugars?

Does it make you feel very disorientated?  Almost like a brain fog?

Caffeine high plus hypoglycaemia feels like a bit how I imagine an out of body experience might feel.
And not in a good way, either.

Self inflicted, though - my blood sugar was a bit high this morning so I took my pills and went out without having anything to eat, although it didn't stop me having 3 mugs of espresso beforehand - hence the caffeine high as well  The hypo was easily remedied with the aid of Ikea's rather delicious blueberry juice, although I'm still feeling a bit spaced from all the coffee.
