I think I'm recovering from a weekend of good cycling, good company, and an unwanted but self-inflicted heavy fall.

Relaxing after another wonderful Les Sorbiers meal, and wondering if my legs will allow me to tackle the Tourmalet AND go horse-riding tomorrow...

we've had my boss and his family to stay for the weekend.  They're lovely Swiss folk, and really are very nice but if they could Just Go now, that'd be perfect.  Enough cheerfulness, I want to be grumpy now.

they're currently "enjoying" toast & Marmite (I've told them it's traditional English fare :))

Off to the station in a couple of hours.  Not sure what to do with them till then..

Bike ride? What about a short trip to the highest point in Essex to admire the view over Cambridge?

Gentle Norfolk mini-tour - this weekend (24-26 July) refers. ;)

Good- not too serious. At least the only spectators were friends. Nothing worse than going arse over tit in front of a crown of strangers ;)

GWS WB.

The Senator is too heavy for the Avensis - we really like this van, but it is quite heavy hence the need for a bigger vehicle.  I'll still use my Smart ForTwo for day to day stuff ;D

I know, I know :-[

But we both quite fancy one and don't fancy a motorhome.  I promise to drive it with care and only travel in the wee small hours of the morning - does that help ;)

Ah well.  I tried... :-\

If it's any help, there's loads of room in the Avensis for comfortable tent camping, should you reconsider the madness of caravan buying ;D

It serves admirably as a reference point for yacf cake-testing meetings
