Planning my ~~most foolish ride ever~~ biggest challenge so far on two wheels. My first imperial century

which has stretched to 110 miles plus I've just discovered that my destination/turn round point is a ski resort*

. Wish I hadn't googled it now...

a final coffee before my brother gets here, then we're off out for a couple of hours. He wants 'hilly', so it's my '1000m of climbing in 60k' loop - who said Cambridge was flat??

Stupidly, I went jogging for an hour last night and my legs are completely bu**ered, and brother is 25kg lighter than me. Could be a challenging ride!

Good luck Paul. Gill and I did our first imperial about two months ago and I'm still buzzing from having done it. I feel another one coming on soon.

Still feeling icky and angry after Wagamama Putney served me chicken dumplings not vegetable ones. I ate half of one before realising. I've been veggie for 19 years.

Sorting out the best cycling route into Foyles, since as usual at weekends, the Underground is buggered with closures. It's probably healthier for me to cycle in, and the other customers will just have to live with hot and sweaty cyclist.

Just got in from riding,guitar practise now. Back out riding later

I live 10 miles from the coast and the local main road is solid queued traffic. Wild horses wouldn't drag me there today, not sure I'd go if it was at the end of the street either, all the sunday ice cream, lager and fish n chip fuckwits, no thanks
