I've now got two entire sets of blocks, non-cartridge type, since I'm not sure what type is on the bike. I've also got a spare brake cable to replace the one I used on Tuesday morning, since sods law dictates that I may need to replace the cable when buggering about with the brakes.

Of course, since the bike is at work, it's Tram and Tube in this morning.

How do you put yours on?

Being antiseptic it helps the newly exposed skin to fight off the spots. It only needs a couple of days to weather in and I won't need to apply it any more.

Sitting in a pub while Woolly has a work-related meeting. We've been cycling today, in the snow, including one deflation-related incident. Brrr. Looking forward to getting home as it's cold in this pub, and they don't serve hot drinks!

absolutely fantastic, best one I've ever been to by miles. Recommend to anyone who can borrow a child for the evening.

Wondering if my Sunday riding mate seriously expects me to turn up at the riverside caff in the morning. And nervously concluding that as an ex-GB Decathlete he does not understand the word "quit" and yes, YES he does!

I sourced him a bargain price Spesh mtb just before Xmas and this is how he repays me!!

So I've swopped to a shorter seat post on the Proflex 856 so I can at least get my feet down as I fall off...
