I am inGlastonbury on amission to obtain the yACF baton fromParrettPedlar of this parish.
I found an iPhone 4 at the spire monument and phoned 'mum' in it's contacts to let it's owner know where it was. The lad seemed overcome with gratitude that his phone hadn't been nicked!

Settling down, in an otherwise empty clifftop house on the edge of a tiny village, listening to the wind whistling round the eaves, after a long day playing signalman on a steam railway, followed by steak & a many of pints, to watching ch5's "Resident Evil: Extinction" fillum starring my fave dream gurl Milla HoHoWitch.

Unlikely to sleep tonight. House nowhere near zombie-proof enough.

Wishing I hadn't fallen down the stairs on Sunday

I was rescuing a baby rabbit that had mysteriously appeared upstairs, and fell over my own feet on the way. My lower back is pretty painful (old being-knocked-off injury that recurs) and I was meant to be going for a ride with Tewdric today. It's a fantastic day, with bright sun and little wind, and we were going off over the hills.

I got as far as the end of the drive and decided it would be a Bad Idea.

Reminiscing. The posts elsewhere about the JB in York led me to accidentally find this John Bull Surfing Club which I'd completely forgotten about. I shared a house with two of the guys in the photograph, and remember the state they were in when they came home from that trip!
