Sat in a campsite in Rostrevor NI having a cider after a 10 mile walk up and around a mountain.
Cycling back to Slane tomorrow for 2 nights and a day sight seeing.

Self medicating with wine after a close encounter with a taxi cab in Diss earlier. Pringled my front wheel but I seemed ok - just a bruised hand. Now achey and having trouble turning my head. I would be less annoyed if it wasn't almost totally my fault. What a n00b...

Note to self: Wake up FFS - bike paths are dangerous. Use the road. Twat...

Feeling a bit sorry for myself. Fever and on antibiotics that don't seem to have improved the situation much in 4 days. Still three more days of teh course to go through, so contemplating whether I should call NHS direct. Also wondering if I can go to work tomorrow, on the bus/train though.

I've just scrubbed down a bag that was covered in kitteh paw prints from when Talisker was using it to sleep on last winter. I've had to put the towel rack in the bath to let it drip dry, and Kai is enamoured with watching it. It must be the drips slowly running along it's length. I await a bang from upstairs, when he tries to attack it!

Well, I have also finished a marathon gardening session and have cycled to the pub.
Although to be fair, cycling to any pub around here means you deserve a pint.

Same from my work. I should have been there yesterday, but am off unwell. Shame...
