Trailing back and forth to the loo. Wincing. Shivering. That kind of thing.

Sigh.

GWSby five o'clock :)

Trying to wake up...

Due to lack of spoons, I had to have an afternoon nap, and now I feel as though I've been hit with a small shovel.  All I want to do is curl back up and go back to dreamland...I am in fact more tired than I was when I laid down for said nap!   ::-)

Early night again tonight!!

Playing The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Echoes on YouTube way too loud for the neighbours at this time of night.

Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Especially the turning all the lights off to locate the sound part ;D
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Waiting for the last riders at the 230km checkpoint, the last one on the Audax Gatton Gambol 300. Exchanging waves with the local constabulary as they pass on their 30 minute circuit.

Aching a bit, then aching some more, then just for a change, aching again.

Really, I should know better, but couldn't resist getting to the front last night and jumping around like an idiot.

Terrorvision have a lot to answer for, and Leeds Cockpit needs a better air circulation system (there was literally condensation dripping off the ceiling last night!)

Marvelling at the huge amount of inkjet ink still in the CISS system I've fitted my HP Photosmart premium last year!

I'm feeling surprisingly chirpy having had very little sleep for 2 days because of working night shifts, then coming home this morning and hitting the gym, taking the dogs out with the bike and then fettling the garden. It is very much easier to stay awake until bedtime to try and reset my body clock if I keep active and busy. If I can last out until 11pm before I pass out then  can enjoy some daylight for the next 3 days before I have to do it all again.

What football? All I can see is a referee throwing a ball at puddles :)

Packing the car for a camping weekend.  Latest in the year I've ever been under canvas!

We're going to be at this.
I'll be cooking for most of the time.  Do come and say hello!

It was fun!  But we didn't lug any cannons up any towers (but I may suggest that to our conductor of artillery).
It was also cold overnight. Frost on the tent may be very pretty but...

Digesting my dinner, wishing my legs would stop aching (shut up, legs!) and slowly coming to the realisation that I'm going to have to go and do some shopping later on  :-\

Dressed for cycling, with bike tyres pumped up, batteries charged, lights on bike, etc., listening to the torrential downpour outside & thinking that this cycling lark is overrated.

[edit]
Mrs B just came in from her (cut short) run, dripping, & saying that it's like running in a shower. She says the road conditions are awful. Thunder & lightning, too.

Just finished compiling an email to my LBS asking them to price me up a 17.5" Genesis Fortitude 29er with sundry additional mods (ie. a decent saddle, for a kickoff)

I haven't actually sent the email off ...

... yet.

Running a bath after a hard day "studying" at college.

By "studying" I mean having a braw day exploring Glen Clova, Glen Doll and Corrie Fee looking at visitor motivation and distribution.

Corrie Fee is certainly an amazing sight to behold!   :o

And we saw some golden eagles, a white tailed sea eagle, and some ravens.
