Most DJ's on mainstream radio esp.
Chris Moyles and that fecking twat on R1 between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.
Richard Allinson and Chris Evans from R2.
The woman on Radio 1 over lunchtime who's going out with some bloke in some band. (she always mentions it).
I mention these as I have to listen to their inane drivel at work.

Jeremy Clarkson and his toadying over-scripted acolytes (the audience and co-presenters).

I mention these because I have to listen to the inane drivel of workmates talking about them.

I could go on..............  And probably will.

William Hague.  Look, you were never going to be PM because

(1) you come from Yorkshire....

Bzzt!

Though this is all true.

Quote
(2) you look like a baked bean.

(3) you are less interesting than that really boring guy who replaced you, whose name I had to struggle with...Duncan-Smith, that's it.

Along with

(4)  you had a lot of the nasty corrupt Tories still hanging around (like Cameron does, but more quietly)

I have a soft spot for Hague. A man with real intellect who is very good at speaking, probably the best in parliament these days. Unfortunately for him he is in  a party that was never going to let him be leader at a time when they had a real chance of winning an election as he isn't really their type.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Germaine Greer

Oi!  Leave the lovely Germaine alone.  She's a heroine of mine, I'll have you know.  She speaks a lot of sense.

After reading her column in today's Guardian, I feel utterly vindicated in my view that she is a super-twat of the first order.

He got on my tits this morning during the eight-year-old-earrings-to-school 'debate'.

And he uses the phrase 'politically correct' without irony.

I only caught a bit of that this morning - was the mother refusing to send her child to school because they said she couldn't go out at playtime because she had her ears pierced and couldn't take the earrings out until they'd healed? And did they say why didn't she just wait till the start of the summer holidays to pierce them? I got the impression that's what it was and I thought the mother was a bit of an idiot.
