Cannondale Bad Boy question
« on: January 06, 2019, 01:04:29 pm »
A family member has just gotten a 2019 bad boy 4 and wants to put a rack on it. He asked me and I have no idea what to recommend. It appears to have rack mounts but the bits up on the chain stays face forwards rather than being on the side and there’s a wee bridge type doofer as well.

Does anyone on here know of what will be compatible ?

It's a thing now. Instead of putting mounting lugs on the frame and making it simple you now have to buy $rack that only fits $bike.

What you need are threaded lugs which screw into the threaded fittings then the mounting holes are in the correct orientation. Some manufacturers include them in the box with the new bike.

Check any miscellaneous bits that came with the bike. If not you can buy sets on line
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.
