Lidl Hiking Trousers

Black polyamide with 4% lycra, skinny enough not to flap but still look like trousers. They also have tabs and buttons so you can roll the legs to three-quarter length. The waist isn't exactly cycling cut, but high enough, and overall looks reasonably sturdy. Not super windproof,  but water-resistant enough to still be comfortable and presentable after half an hour of February drizzle. They dry quickly too.

What more can you ask for a tenner?

Thanks for the heads up on these - they were reduced to £8.99 in my local, so I got two pairs. The fitting is excellent for me in my waist wise (38") but the legs seem a bit on the long side. There are two different styles (DAHIKT) zip-off legs, and roll-up legs. The zip on the zip-off seems a bit lower than I'm used to with Craghoppers etc. I'm a fan of 3/4 legs for cycling, and not a lover of cycle-specific styles, and these seem to hit a sweet spot - but the proof will be in the riding.
