If it goes ahead Iceland have a banger !

Makes our entry look very weak as usual.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

The UK's entry doesn't seem to me to be the weakest by any means, even though we British crticise it, as we always do. Given that Israel's chicken rap was so not my kind of music I probably shouldn't be allowed to comment on Eurovision songs, although I still hope for gems like Portugal's winner.

Bugger! I thought that the only benefit of Brexit was that we would be banned from the Eurovision song contest.

The EBU has nothing to do with political boundaries.  It's an as-the-microwave-flies kind of thing between broadcasters.

(I'm not a fan of the Eurovison song contest either.  It's what QUILTBAGs have instead of sportsball, and I find the whole thing quite tedious.  Apart from that year that $scandiwegian_country entered a bunch of death-metal Klingons, that was amusing.)
Careful, Kim. Your sarcasm's showing...

Unless you work for Eurovision I don't think you are forced to watch it.

As I say, it's what QUILTBAGs have instead of sportsball.  Not watching it doesn't mean you can escape all your friends squeeing about it.

Eurovision Song Contest 2020 cancelled over coronavirus

Some will be disappointed, others will be jubilant.
