So, Covid or Covid?

I don't know why I pronounce Covid the way I do. I just do.
My o is as in 'of'.
I've noticed most BBC contributors use the o as in 'go', but there are several who use 'of'.  I've just heard Ritula Shah on R4  use 'of' which made me wonder how common that is.

How do you pronounce it?

Edited to spell ms Shah's first name correctly.

At risk of igniting the 'GIF'-vs-'JIF' flamewar, I pronounce the "CO" like in "Corona"

(Slightly annoying that they don't spell it CoViD, tbh.)
Careful, Kim. Your sarcasm's showing...

Glasstonbury,

Glarstonbury (as southerners would pronounce the name of the famous music festival).

To rhyme with “myopic”?

As in

Kojak I think.

Now I think of it, since I rarely have the telly on to watch the news, the only place I could have got the pronunciation is at work.
But I can't think what the consultant cardiologist I've been on teams calls with has called it.
