What am I missing here? A rider carrying 5% more weight than others of similar height and ability finishing looking like he's just made a cake stop, whilst all around grovel in his wake?

Holy bike parking batman. And the car on the course too.  I guess we're getting all the normal bike racing crazyness stuffed into a short space, as well as all the normal bike racing.

aud I thought lockdown would lead to a Tour packed with all the best riders fit and fresh with no injuries. Doh  :facepalm:

I reckon that he had pedal strike which unstuck the rear then grabbed a bit too much front brake although in his post finish interview he reckoned that his front wheel had hit a patch of oil.
