A66 Keswick to Threlkeld trail reopens

It's 5 years since storm Desmond caused havoc, especially in Cumbria including off-road cycling routes so it's great to hear that a significant part of the sea to sea route has now been fully repaired

That's good news.  We take our holiday in Grasmere every year and I have been cycling up Dunmail Raise and round the west of Thirlmere to follow the progress of the storm damage repairs to the old route by the reservoir.  i expected it to be finished this time but we had to cancel our holiday so I didn't see.  I'd planned to continue to Threlkeld and have a look at this route, too.  Now I'm especially keen!
