Pink and 3/16", so I had to shorten it with a hammer and punch.

It's OK, one mention of those Sturmey-Archer gears and they'll run screaming.

Scissors and sewing machine might have been more appropriate?
It is simpler than it looks.

"Daddy...can I have my bike back now?"

"Not until It has the sturmey gears fitted"

"But I liked the deraileur gear and I want to go and play in the park with my friends now"

About ten years from now some poor young man is going to have to sit through that very chat unless she gets in there first and puts you in a home.

VeloYellow at the Audax Alpine Classic in Bright, Victoria, Australia last weekend.   The car is one of the original support vehicles from the 1950s Sun Cycle Race.

If ever my mum emigtares to Oz(there is talk of it because my stepfather's brother has been there for fifty years) I think I might come too just so that I could live in a climate where you don't need overshoes & thermal base layers to ride your bike. ;D

I don't need overshoes and thermal layers to ride a bike in summer in this country.

And you would have still needed thermals on this year's Sydney-Melbourne 1200 Audax:

For whatever reason I associate Oz as having only warm weather :-\

It's because you're looking at pictures of their lovely warm summer whilst we are freezing our bits off in winter in the Northern hemisphere.

In our summer you're too busy out riding in the lovely warm showers to look at pictures of Oz.

Warm showers ;D
the only time I've ever been warm when in water(other than the shower or bath) is in a dry suit & wooly bear upto a depth of 50 metre.
A bicycle was never involved.

With those bike accessories, I think you need a blue jersey. This is how it's done. ;)

That is what my cycling companion said.  In the last order sadly blue was not an option unless I paid extra.
I should have paid, you are right  ;D

Yep, in hindsight it is a rather gay colour.

I also went for a purple LS top in the last round of orders.
I haven't worn it yet because we seem to have gone from winter to summer overnight.
Perhaps I'll wear it when the sun is beating down later in the year to stop my arms getting sun-burnt  ;)

Is it really gay ?  ;D
