I cannot get my head around this ride as I think I am going to really struggle through lack of motivation etc and probably give up when I pass close to my home after Hessle. But then I think, if I ride the first 600K as I would any other 600K, in 36 hours, I would be halfway between Brampton and Lockerbie as others have mentioned as part of their strategy, but that does not sound right, it seems to be to far for the time, but the maths says it is right and its what I have done in the past to complete "600s". As in theory then, I only have another "600" to ride, which would take a good bit longer due to tiredness and sleeping and then a "300" which in itself is just a days ride in 12 to 18 hours from past experience.
I think I am missing something somewhere. Maybe, its because I have never done a "600" that heads in one direction and is not a circular route so it appears a long way straight up the middle of England and to me, just seems not feasible.
