I’m having a thing lately where just below the inside of my left bum cheek is giving me discomfort when cycling - it’s worse on the static trainer than it is on the road and almost feels like a blip in the bottom of my legs rotation. It’s uncomfortable bordering on slight pain but not enough to keep me from doing anything. Totally one side only and I suspect piriformis but I wonder if anyone else had had such an issue and what remedies were tried / worked
Stretching regime ? Im not flexible at all so maybe
Saddle too wide ? Summer bike is same but feels fine - set up is as close as I can get it
Saddle fore/aft ?
I suspect that this might be the cause of my previously mentioned numb left foot and it’s pressure on something that isn’t right in the bum area that’s making just my left foot get pins and needles - though a clear wedge and arch support have helped this a lot
I’ve always been pretty adaptable to bike for but I’m not getting any younger and perhaps my need for everything to be spot on is getting greater I don’t know. However I’m just wondering if anyone has had and possibly solved a similar issue
Can self refer to physio but it takes ages
