Nice, bigger bikes seem to have more pleasing proportions, but the seatpost and stem are different.
The Cinelli 1A stem fits with the bike, and could been used by Doyle, but the seatpost (Laprade?) looks out of place. More suitable would be the 2 bolt Campagnolo Record/Gran Sport, or the single bolt Super Record.
I just got my second copy of the Steve Snowling Bicycle Mechanics book in the post today, £2.60 for the paperback version. I believe the bikes in the book belonged to Tony Doyle, and they were built by Roberts?
